Hotel Metropole Suisse I found the Hotel Metropole Suisse to be extremely accomdating. Our first room, which I had requested a view of the lake, was very nice but was directly over the main road and extrememly noisy. I requested another room and by the next morning they had a beautiful suite with a slight view of the lake for us. The restaurant at the hotel was the wonderful and the staff could not have been friendlier, would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Metropole Suisse Wouldn't pay extra for double superior room, although views great, balcony tiny and overhanging on a main road. Shower in bathroom small and water floods onto floor due to poor design.

Hotel Metropole Suisse Alberto, the concierge was extremely helpful and friendly and spoke beautiful english. He recommended a restaurant, Silencio that was outstanding. He called ahead and made us reservations. The service was impeccable. The room at the hotel was clean and well maintained. We had a balcony that overlooked the lake as promised. Yes, the main road is a bit noisy but if you shut the double panned windows, it completely blocks out the noise and the road slows down in the evening and is quiet until around 9am. We would definitely return.

Hotel Metropole Suisse Un des rares hotels de Côme au coeur de la ville et au bord du lac. Bien que sur une voie très fréquenté, très bonne insonorisation de l'hotel. Restaurant intégré très agréable, et service irréprochable.

Hotel Metropole Suisse Das Hotel hat niemals auch nur annähernd das Niveau eines 4 Sterne - Hotels nicht mal in Landeskategorie. Das Personal des Hotels war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, was man von dem Loungepersonal (Lounge nennt sich die dazugehörende Bar) nicht behaupten kann. Weil wir unseren vor 0.00 Uhr bestellten Nachtdrink erst nach 0.00 Uhr erhielten, mussten wir die Bar verlassen und in der ungemütlichen Hotelhalle austrinken, da die Bar um 0.00 Uhr schließt. Außerdem ist die Straße vor dem Hotel unerträglich laut, so dass ein Öffnen des Fensters undenkbar ist und wir sind beileibe nicht pingelich. Das Hotel eignet sich eigentlich nur für Urlauber auf der Durchreise, diese sollten aber nicht älter als 20 - 25 Jahre alt sein, dafür ist aber dann auch zu teuer. Wir wollten 2 Nächte bleiben, sind jedoch am 2. Tag abgereist und haben uns ein anderes Hotel gesucht.

Hotel Metropole Suisse Für einen Kurzaufenthalt war das Hotel in Ordnung. Die Lage ist perfekt. Leider sind die Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen und vorallem die Ausstattung war eher wie in einem Museum - hat mich persönlich aber nicht gestört. Die Sauberkeit und auch das Frühstück waren dagegen sehr gut. Würde für einige Nächte das Hotel wieder buche.
