Hotel Santa Croce In Fossabanda struttura molto bella, camere in stato mediocre, dalla manutenzione dei mobili alla pulizia delle pareti, eccessivamente spartana. Il prezzo richiesto dall'hotel non è giustificabile per delle stanze in quello stato.

Hotel Santa Croce In Fossabanda E' molto gradevolo, la colazione è buona, anche se la saletta è piccola; consiglierei un minimo più di attenzione all'arredamento (comodino che "balla", l'aggiunta di uno specchio in camera, una lampada sul tavolino) e al riscaldamento che è runoroso.

Hotel Santa Croce In Fossabanda E' stata una bellissima scoperta! Il luogo è stupendo! Il monastero ha tantissimo "cachet"! Temevamo le zanzare, invece ne abbiamo viste solo una e non ci ha nemmeno punte! Stanza molto alta di soffitto, ottimo letto e lenzuola molto dolci, mattonelle idonee! Grande semplicità! Colazione veramente geniale! 3 note negative: 1. di notte, ci è stato difficile trovare il posto (meno male che i pisani ci hanno aiutate molto con le loro indicazioni; 2. la doccia è troppo stretta 3. Il parcheggio esiguo.

Hotel Santa Croce In Fossabanda 1.) La pulizia in generale non era troppo scarso tranne alcune cose, esempio i vetri delle finestre in camera erano sporchissimi! 2.) Alcune poltrone all'entrata della zona dove alloghiavo (nel riparto "dietro") erano macchiate. 3.) Ho aprrezzato la gentilezza ed accoglienza di benvenuto anche al mio cane che mi ha accompagnato! Lo spazio - prato/cortile chiuso per fare sgambare il cane. 4.) Ho aprrezzato anche il bagno sapzioso, pulito e ben fornito. 5.) Lentezza per aprire il cancello del parcheggio e più che altro mancanza di campanello per richiedere l'apertura del cancello.

Hotel Santa Croce In Fossabanda Romantic and peaceful atmosphere. Nice to have a walk around the courtyard. We stayed in 2 double rooms, both nicely furnished and with a functional bathroom. Excellent breakfast. We would higly recommend this hotel for either business or leisure stays.

Hotel Santa Croce In Fossabanda The hotel's concept was interesting, it was decorated like an old monastary, which created an interesting atmosphere. However, being so close to the airport and next to a school, made the complex very noisy, never mind the fact that you could hear every door open and shut in the wing of the building, along with people walking in the hallway.

Hotel Santa Croce In Fossabanda Wireless internet does not work in all parts of the hotel but the (new) staff does not know this. You then have to pay the same amount (5 Euros for 24 hours) to use the reception in the areas it does work (like the courtyard). Not too bad, considering 5 E is cheap for 24 hours but a little annoying.

Hotel Santa Croce In Fossabanda We selected this hotel for the novelty of staying in an old monestary and in fact paid more this hotel then others that looked to be more comfortable. We booked two double rooms for Christmas Day. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were given two twin rooms. When I asked for doubles, the man at the desk was not pleased but did give me two doubles. We were very disappointed to find our room was in a newer building attached to the back of the monestary and not in the original structure itself (which was again the attraction of the hotel to begin with). When I inquired, we were told the hotel was sold out and there were no rooms in the original. I accepted that response and moved on. However, a short time later, my husband returned to the desk to retrieve our passports and IDs which we needed for other purposes. The man at the desk became angry, took the documents into his office to make copies, slamming the doors in the process, and eventually returned and practically threw the identification back at my husband. Our experience at this hotel the first day put a huge damper on our day and tainted our entire stay in Pisa... a city we will not return to and will recommend our friends not even bother going to. On the upside, the breakfast was good.

Hotel Santa Croce In Fossabanda The disabled bathroom facility was a bit of a shock - could not shower without flooding the whole bathroom! Breakfast not begun till 7.30am with no allowance for the several who had to leave at this time for an early flight. Beds though spotlessly clean were rather hard and uncomfortable. When we were there the single elevator was not working and so had to pull cases across a gravel path and then up a steep flight of stone stairs.

Hotel Santa Croce In Fossabanda We had to leave the hotel at 7am, and I did email in advance to ask if we would be able to have breakfast - I was told no as breakfast was at 7.30. When we were leaving, the receptionist told me it is in fact possible to get a 'take away' breakfast but as it had not been ordered we could not have it. I was a little annoyed as for the price of the room i think we had paid for our breakfast!

Hotel Santa Croce In Fossabanda This is a very nice place and the breakfast was really good. The main disadvantage was, that it was rather loud. Not from the road but from the room next door. Two rooms share one entrance door and the walls are pretty thin. If your neighbours-room is empty, you´re lucky, if not you share every single noise.

Hotel Santa Croce In Fossabanda We were very impressed with the refurbishment of the general areas in Hotel Santa Croce but feel that a little more imagination could have been put into the renovation of the bedroom areas, but still keeping the ambience of the Monastery. The bedrooms were very stark and un-inviting. We understand that in the renovation, the architect has tried to keep the feel of the original monastery, but we feel that they have forgotten that most of the people using the hotel are on holiday and need a little more 'Comfort' (as in a comfortable chair to sit in, a picture on the wall etc.), but still keeping the original decor.
