Castello Di Casiglio Spent two nights at the hotel - only comment would be that the adjoining villa certainly needed some updating in its bedrooms. We were in the roof on the first nightwith roof skylight and two tiny "porthole" windows, but asked to be moved to the main hotel for the second night, which was done efficiently. Would have been nice to use the outside terrace for breakfast, given the weather.

Castello Di Casiglio Advantages: Very beautiful buildings and suroundings. Good breakfast. Big swimming pool. Disadvantages: Rooms in the second building despite of being big need surely need renovation (doors, windows and bathrooms). During summer the hotel must find a way of serving breakfast in the courtyard instead of the basement (no physical light, very good for the winter only)

Castello Di Casiglio Beautiful buildings and grounds - we enjoyed it very much. Annoyingly, we were given a ground floor room with windows onto a pretty courtyard where a wedding party was taking place, so we had to keep our curtains (orange mesh making the room very dark) closed all the time while we were changing for dinner. This was very disappointing; otherwise it was lovely. Perhaps we should have been warned about this beforehand, or offered a discount.

Castello Di Casiglio Das Zimmer war sehr stark renovierungsbedürftig, sowie das ganze Haus in dem wir wohnten, die Farbe blättert ab, die Fenster sind lange nicht mehr gestrichen worden u.ä.m. Im Zimmer lagen abgelöste Parkettdielen herum, die nicht mehr passten und so zu Stolperfallen wurden. Die Übergänge der Böden sind nie vollendet worden, alles sehr billig gemacht!! Das Bad ist schätzungsweiße aus den 60-ziger Jahren und hat keine Renovierung erfahren. Preis/Leistung stimmte gar nicht. Schön anzusehen sind die Außenanlagen und der Eingangsbereich, das Haupthaus schien auch auf einem besseren Stand zu sein. Die Zimmer haben wir aber nicht von innen sehen können. Wenn das Haus eine angemessenen renoviert wäre, könnte es ein Traum sein. Zum Essen: leicht überteuert, aber schöner Blick über die Anlage. Frühstück war in Ordnung, nur der Kaffeeautomat (!) war unteres Niveau - für so ein Haus.

Castello Di Casiglio das hotel ist von aussen sehr sehr schön, aber der schein trügt. in innern ist die sorgfalt wie sie bei der aussenanlage gemacht worden ist, verloren gegangen. mit der sauberkeit in den zimmern lässt sich viel verbessern. es wird wohl nur dort geputzt wo keine möbel stehen. die böden hinterlassen einen schmudeligen eindruck. aber wie gesagt: die umgebung und die fassede sind sehr schön und gepflegt. service und essen im restaurant lassen zu wünschen übrig !!!

Castello Di Casiglio Sehr schönes Ambiente, sehr schöne Lage. Fair wäre der Hinweis, daß in diesem Hotel viele Hochzeiten und Tagungen veranstaltet werden. Großer Schwachpunkt sind die fehlenden Ablageflächen im Zimmer und im Bad. Das Frühstück hat kein 4Sterne-Niveau.

Castello Di Casiglio Die Hotelanlage ist nicht nur super romantisch, auch absolut beeindruckend und sehr schön. Dieses Hotel vereint Comfort und Erlebnisgastronomie in einem. Auch ist der besondere Service des Personals zu erwähnen welches stets darauf bedacht war den Gästen einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt zu bescheren. Jederzeit würde ich dieses Hotel wieder besuchen wollen. *** absolut zu empfehlen

Castello Di Casiglio Die Hotelanlage ist wirklich sehr schön. Die Matratzen und Kopfkissen waren topp (nicht durchgelegen und nicht muffig), die Räume insgesamt wirkten sauber. Ambiente und Essen waren dagegen wieder sehr gut.

Castello Di Casiglio Allerdings war zumindest in unserem Zimmer die Einrichtung etwas abgewohnt: der Fön war mit Tesafilm repariert, der Heizkörper zeigte am Ventil Ausfluss von rostigem Wasser, vereinzelt Spinnwebenfäden an den (hohen) Zimmerdecken.

Castello Di Casiglio Wir hatten ein Zimmer gebucht und in der ersten Nacht ein Zimmer zugeteilt bekommen in der Villa, daß den Ansprüchen nicht anähernd gerecht wurde (Ich denke für 140 euro die Nacht darf man schon ein wenig mehr erwarten, auch in Italien). Frühstück war auch ein besseres Pensionffrühstück (Saftkonzentrat, Portionsmarmelade, Frühstück nur bis 10, nur 2 Brotsorten......) Lage und Ambiente sind klasse
