Albergo Villa Azalee mi sono fidato del giudizio di altri utenti ma purtroppo non e' servito poiche' la nostra stanza (numero 42) era veramente penosa i muri pieni di crepe, pavimento non molto stabile infatti se si camminava un po' piu' veloce si muoveva qualsiasi cosa, calcinacci che si sono staccati, fili volanti della corrente.. da ristrutturare!

Albergo Villa Azalee L'hotel si trova in posizione ottimale sia dall'uscita dell'autostrada sia per raggiungere il centro di Firenze. In dieci minuti a piedi sei a S. Maria Novella! È veramente carino, sembra di fare un tuffo nel passato. Il personale è estremamente gentile e premuroso. Lo consiglio vivamente!

Albergo Villa Azalee Buona sera,abbiamo trovato un ambiente angusto e fatiscente ben lontano dalla descrizione data sulla scheda di presentazione.Premetto che al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti dal personale molto gentile e cortese,ma la struttura decrepita,vecchia oserei dire,non ci siamo fermati (la ns.prenotazione era x due notti)abbiamo pagato una notte e con una banale scusa ce ne siamo andati,fra lo sgomento del personale.Non lo consiglierei ad un amico.Il mio giudizio è indubbiamente negativo. Albergo Villa Azalee quando ho visto la stanza pensavo che il prezzo previsto non fosse quello vero...e invece sono molto soddisfatto della struttura: è a due passi dalla stazione SMN, le stanze molto accoglienti, il personale molto disponibile, la colazione squisita (compresa nel prezzo) e ciliegina sulla torta, un giardino carino all'interno della strtuttura!

Albergo Villa Azalee L'hotel da fuori sembra la casa dei fantasmi: dentro lo stile "belle epoque" è rimasto senza manutenzione da almeno 20 anni! La stanza per la colazione nel seminterrato, con soli 5 tavolini, quindi bisogna aspettare il proprio turno. La nostra stanza seppur spaziosa era al 4° piano senza ascensore. Rapporto qualità/prezzo inadeguato.

Albergo Villa Azalee ambiente retrò che ha un fascino di altri tempi. il retro del giardino deve essere più curato e non diventare un rifugio di cose vecchie. Ma forse c'erano dei lavori in corso.La linea tranviaria in costruzione sulla strada prospicente crea indubbi disagi,certo non dipendenti dalla struttura.I prezzi tramite vs. prenotazione sono decisamente favorevoli. Albergo Villa Azalee wir haben erst am 3. Tag gemerkt, dass es auch möglich ist guten italienischen Kaffee zu bekommen, für uns war es dann leider zu spät, aber wir haben das undefinierbare Gebräu doch überlebt; also den guten Kaffee aktiv einfordern!

Albergo Villa Azalee First impression from outside is very off-putting, partly because of the construction on the street and partly because the building looks virtually derelict and abandoned. Once inside, the place is welcoming and nice. The information should note that there is no elevator. Our room was in the main building; don't know if the rooms in the annex are more modern. Easy walk into the center of Florence and easy drive to the airport.

Albergo Villa Azalee We booked at Villa Azalee because we liked the idea of having a garden to sit in even in the middle of a city. We met wonderful, friendly staff who were so helpful and professional at all times. There was an excellent breakfast every morning, either in the cheery breakfast room or in the garden (beware of mosquitoes and flies!). However, the photos on the website show the annexe in the garden, not the villa. The exterior of the villa itself has seen better days and is in need of repair. The garden is also getting a bit run down and in need of attention. Our room was in the villa and seemed to be taller than either width and breadth! The very large four poster bed took up most of the space, so much so that there wasn't room for a wardrobe - we had an interesting brass rail arrangement for clothes instead. Excellent double glazing which kept out all city noises and the good air-con ensured an peaceful sleep every night. The shower was excellent, the towels were changed every day and everything was kept spotless. We would certainly recommend a stay at Villa Azallee - we think it is quite special.

Albergo Villa Azalee We have travelled to 5 countries and stayed at 15 hotels and this was one of the best. The staff were lovely, the owner has great taste and it was very homely. Excellent service at breakfast and the head waiter was great. Lovely gardens, a little eden in Florence. It was not far from the train station and will look a lot better when they have finished upgrading the roads for the trams.

Albergo Villa Azalee The Hotel had a very nice and friendly atmosphere. Nevertheless there are some minor points in my opinion. The breakfast room was nice but much to small. Maybe the hotel has to change that. The hall was lass nice than I thought. The fourniture was not in style anymore. For us its was a pitty, that our room was on the second floor, wich was very tyring for us after doing a whole day Florence. For younger couples it would be easyer to do. I would like to give the suggestion that you ask the age of your clients to be able to give more service on this item.

Albergo Villa Azalee Having read the positive reviews were keen to try the Hotel. Whereas the Villa and gardens were typically Italian and very beautiful, our room was in the garden, ground floor, at the end wall which had a bus stop the other side. The constant noise from the busy road was not conducive to a good night's sleep. Our room appeared to be in a converted stable which was quaint but you literally stepped inside the french door and were at the foot of the bed. The Dining Room was small 5/6 tables and although we arrived for breakfast at 9.00a.m first morning we had to wait 30mins. Positively, it's good value, safe area, clean, good breakfast and near the station.

The garden annexe shown on the photos is the more modern part of the hotel, while the 'villa' building is older and more charming, with a faded elegance that was perfect for a short break in Florence. It's a bit of a walk to the heart of Florence but only 10-15 minutes, no problem at all when you enjoy threading through the streets and we discovered something new each day by trying slightly different routes in. I hesitated about putting in these comments because I don't want it to become too popular..!

Albergo Villa Azalee We were warmly welcomed by Antonio who spoke very good english. The hotels breakfast room was rather small, but the option to take breakfast in the garden overcame that. The hotel was on a busy road and some noise could be heard but all in all it was an oasis of calm and comfort after a days sightseeing in Florence.

However, they did not completely clean out the in-room refrigerator before I arrived, and they failed to deliver my breakfast (a service included in the price of the room) - I had to go down and inquire about it several times before they finally brought it up.

Albergo Villa Azalee El desayuno muy bueno y abundante aunque la sala del desayuno es un poco pequeña. Las habitaciones no están insonorizadas y se oye todo. Nosotros no tuvimos ningún problema pero si los vecinos de habitación son ruidosos puede ser un problema. Nosotros estuvimos en la parte de atrás del jardín, el anexo, y está muy bien. Es muy agradable. La situación del hotel es buena. Si volvemos a Florencia volveremos a este hotel.

Albergo Villa Azalee Eine alte villa, wie man sie sich eine solche in Florenz vorstellt - das ganze Haus ist übersät mit Anitquitäten. Wenn einem so was gefällt, ist diese Haus ein Traum. Ein tolles, freundliches, hilfbereites Personal, wie man es wirklich selten findet. Das Zimmer groß und sauber. Bad und WC für ital. Verhältnisse sehr geräumig. Frühstücksbuffet überraschend vielfältig (Schinken, Wurst, Käse, Tomaten m. Mozz., div. Kuchen und Süßspeisen, Eierspeise, Säfte, Müsli etc.). Alles in allem ein Hotel, wo wir uns wirklich wohl gefühlt haben und nur 400 m vom Bahnhof.

Albergo Villa Azalee Zimmer lag neben einer Bushaltestelle. Lärm war sehr laut zu hören. Toilettenspüle tropfte. In 3 Tagen war man nicht in der Lage das Problem zu lösen. Frühstücksraum ist sehr klein. Man muss gelegentlich warten bis man einen Platz bekommt. Das Frühstück selbst war nicht schlecht, aber auch dem Preis nicht entsprechend. Riesen Baustelle vor dem Hotel.

Albergo Villa Azalee Uns hat das Frühstücken im Garten gefallen. Wir wurden angenehm freundlich und verbindlich bedient. Nette Atmosphäre im Altvillen-Ambiente mit Stil. Das Hauptgebäude könnte aussen eine Renovierung vertragen. Wenn man rein kommt ist jedoch alles vergessen. Der Verkehrslärm verlangt mitunter gewisse Zugeständnisse. Die vorher genannten positiven Aspekte versöhnen.
