Hotel Mach 2 Rome Airport Eccellente posizione per chi ha necessita' di recarsi in aeroporto e dover lasciare l'autovettura in custodia per alcuni giorni. Come al solito i taxi per i trasferimenti fanno i prezzi come vogliono con tariffe da 11 a 25 Euro per tratta. Le camere spartane ma pulite, l'annesso ristorante discreto con prezzi accettabili. Colazione abbondante.

Hotel Mach 2 Rome Airport The picture showing the size of the room didn't lie so I can't complain about how small it was. That it was in the back of the building overlooking the parking lot and all the maintenance machinery is probably due to the fact we only stayed one night. Someone has to have that room, I suppose. Oh, I'm sorry, you asked what aspects we enjoyed during our stay. Thank goodness the sheets and towels were clean. The one good thing about this hotel is the attached restaurant. Our dinner was very good as was the service and the included breakfast was more than sufficient.
Hotel Mach 2 Rome Airport The carpet was stained and dirty, the paint marred and faded, the closet-sized bathroom had a shower with bits of mold between the tiles.

Hotel Mach 2 Rome Airport After reading some of the more negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. My room was very pleasant, modern and clean. Excellent bathroom. My only complaint is that the man running the front desk didn't know the password for the internet and didn't want to go out of his way to find out. Also, WIFI is only available in the lobby.

Instead they have tons of cords connecting this & that stretching some of them to their limit. Plus the lobby is dreary & small. The highlight was the restaurant staff. Outgoing & friendly & most helpful. I think our waitress was Christina & she was just delightful.

Hotel Mach 2 Rome Airport The main benefit of this hotel is its proximity to the airport, however you'll still spend 15 euros each way to take a taxi (the shuttle is cheaper, but doesn't operate early or late). The restaurant associated with the hotel is not nearly as good as even a cheap trattoria in Rome. Overall it's an acceptable stay if you just want to catch your flight with minimum hassle.

Lucky for me it was my sister-in-law in the next room and I was able to call her from the airport. My response when I contacted the hotel was indifference on their part. I realize I should have checked it first like I always do but I failed to do so. However, I felt the hotel should have taken some responsibiliy for this mistake because this caused me much anxiety not to mention a consideral amount of extra money. The fair was expensive enough without my brother having to call a cab to bring me my passport and then return to the hotel once again. I feel your hotel should have picked up the expense at least partly or at least offer an apology for their mistake. This left a very bitter feeling after what could have been a nice stay. The staff was great answering our questions ang booking us the shuttle for the airport. The cost for the shuttle was 6 Euro per person and you do need to reserve the time you want with the hotel staff. The cost gets added to your bill. Very convenient for us. The taxi form the airport/train station to get to the hotel was 20 Euro. They offer a shuttle from the airport as well, but reservations in advance are required and it is not available until after 4pm or 16:00. We were ther eon a Sunday night and the hotel restaurant was not open. So we asked about where to go. The staff told us about the little fishing village 10 minute walk down the road. Great town!!! We had the best pizza and fried calamari and it was so cheap compared to everywhere else we ate all week. There is a fantastic pier to walk on and all the locals were out and about. It was definitely worth the walk. We had a great breakfast at the hotel before we cought the shuttle. Breakfast was included in the price. I definitely would reccomend this hotel. Marci USA

My first visit on Jan 9th 08 was ideal -close to airport, gave me a good night's sleep before going to Focolare conference at Casel Gandolfo on the 10th. When I failed to meet my incoming american friends on a later flight on the 10th and found little or no help at the airport, I returned to Mach 2 where Monica went far beyond the call of duty incalming y shattered nerves, offering me temporary rest in a hotel room while she went to work on locating y conta us at Castel Gandolfo. Within 10 mihutes she had arranged everything and sent me back to the airport where my friends showded up; their luggage had gone missing - hence the delay and confusion. At the airport a driver held a big sign for my convenience and we all set out for Castel Gandolfo much relieved - all thanks to the efficiency and kindness of Monica. I cananot praise her highly enough for her prompt and thoughtful service. On mys econd visit, the night before my return to canada, I was received with equal courtesy, enjoyed a wonderful afternoon and evening, a good night's rest.. Incidentally, the restaurant next door is superb - great food, reasonable rates and truly Italian hospitality. I'm spreading the word about Mach 2.

Hotel Mach 2 Rome Airport Our only disappointment with those hotel was that they would not credit us the breakfast that we were unable to have at the hotel because we had to leave early (6 AM) for the airport to catch our flight. They did, however, pack a little "box" breakfast for us, but it was rather poor value compared to a regular breakfast, consisting only of a small bottle of juice, packaged zwieback, and a packaged croissant. As promised, though, it was ready for us when we checked out. The staff was extremely professional and was quite polite, and the young woman at the desk when we checked in not only ordered the breakfasts but arranged for our taxi pickup the following morning. We were very pleased with the level of soundproofing at the hotel; important, as it is in the flight path of the airport.

There is a shuttle service to take you to the airport but you must make a reservation with the front desk and the cost is 6 Euro per person (which was reasonable). The restaurant is excellent and with a lovely lunch and dinner menu. The restaurant did not open until 7:30 AM on the Sunday we left and thus we could not have breakfast that morning. The rooms were quiet and clean but the showers flood fairly easily and need more attention to the mold. Overall, this was a good value for the money and location to the airport.

Hotel Mach 2 Rome Airport Hotel Mach was very modern and visually pleasing. Rooms were good and the price was quite reasonable. I was very happy with our stay. We were able to take the shuttle from the airport to the hotel complementry of the hotel but due to our flight leaving at 8 a.m. we had to pay for a taxi. It would be great if the hotel could also pick up the tab for the taxi as they do for the shuttle van.

Espere el shutle 40 minutos y pague el mismo valor de un taxi. Servicio malo y caro. El ultimo sale del aeropuerto a las 21:15. Muy limitado
