Holidays Fico D'India Very nice little hotel with outstanding friendly staff. Wonderful view from the restaurant terrace and the balconys to the sea. The rooms are quite old fashioned and could need some new furniture, but everything is very clean. The food in the restaurant is fantastic - you don't need to go to one of the rather expensive and touristic restaurants in Positano and Amalfi. Enjoy the delicious and reasonably priced food and the wonderful view at the beautiful terrace.

Holidays Fico D'India Pino and the staff were very helpful. Great service! The hotel is about 20 minutes by car from Amalfi, so it is best if you have a car. Bus service is irregular, and while Pino will happily give you a ride to or from Amalfi, I hated to bother him.

Holidays Fico D'India I selected Fico d'India based on previous ratings by guests...I figured that many people can't be wrong. That was a very correct assumption. Pino and his family and staff provided nothing less than an outstanding experience. They treat you like family, and they strive to fulfill any and all demands of their guests. At first I thought the location might be too remote. However, with the bus service available just a short walk away, and the willingness of the staff to provide transportation when needed, it didn't feel remote at all. In fact, one of the best parts of the stay there were the spectacular views of the sea, the mountains and the deep reavines in the area, and the blessing of peace and quiet made for a good night's sleep every night. I agree with former guests who praised the food. Pino's father does the bulk of the cooking, and makes a wide array of wonderful dishes...from pasta to seafood, veal to steak. I know, because I had all of my evening meals at Fico, as well as breakfast every day and a few lunches too. Once I learned how good the good was, and how reasonable the prices, it was great to be able to enjoy delicious meals in the glass-enclosed, real lemon tree filled dining room that is perched on the side of the mountain. If you are looking for a more personal experience in a warm and friendly environment at a price that is very reasonable compared to the competition, than you will not be disappointed with Holidays Fico d'India. I highly recommend it....without any reservations.

Holidays Fico D'India Fico D'India is a true find, I loved it and will definitely return. We went off-season, were the only visitors and received excellent service. The food was fabulous (both breakfast and dinner) and very reasonably priced for dinner, parking is ample. The view was astonishing, absolutely beautiful from our small balcony hanging over the Amalfi Coast. The only challenge was finding the hotel, but that was because my GPS thought there was an open road coming from the Positano side of Furore that was actually private. Approaching from Amalfi / Vietri was a piece of cake. Great value, great food, great service and even better view - I look forward to returning. Thank you

Holidays Fico D'India The owner Pino was EXTREMELY helpful. He advised us on where to go and how to use the bus and trains to get there. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast were nearly decadent and the evening meals that we had there were very good. The cost of the meals was very reasonable, especially given the quality. We had some issues with the water heater, but they were addressed as soon as we mentioned it. The view is spectacular. We were there in January and it was a little chilly. I would love to be there in the summer.

Holidays Fico D'India Pino and his family made our stay at Fico D'India so wonderful. They drove us down to Amalfi to catch the bus every day so we could tour the area. The food was awesome and what a beautiful view from the hotel. This is a lovely hotel that is so clean and well maintained, we would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Italy and the Amalfi Coast.

Holidays Fico D'India We have stayed in many lovely small inns in Europe but this one outshines them all!! I wish we could score them at about a 15/10 in ratings. The rooms are really lovely with a spectacular view of the Amalfi coastline. The lemon tree terrace is an idyllic and romantic spot for dining. The included breakfast is wonderful and you can also enjoy dinner here which we did for all of our evenings at the Fico. The food was fabulous and it was lovely to end the day while watching the sun go down and talking with the other guests. All of this makes the Fico d'India a super spot to stay but then add in the incredible service and hospitality and you really have the makings of a perfect holiday. Pino is an exceptional host, so willing to help in any way he can!!!!! His young cousin, Mario, who served us our meals was a perfect waiter. Thank you to all of the staff for a wonderful stay. We hope to see you again some day.

Holidays Fico D'India We cannot recommed this hotel enough. Pino and everyone were fantastic, the service was brillant and the food was amazing. After four days we didn't want to leave. Of our seven week Europe trip this rated as the best stay ever.

Holidays Fico D'India Franchement super! Meilleur hébergement sur trois semaines en Italie. Nous sommes très critiques face à ce genre de services, mais dans ce cas, SERVICE HORS-PAIR. Pino, le propriétaire et son employé Mario sont deux perles, nous prenaient et nous raccompagnaient (sans aucun frais) en Ville, nous ont offert des petites surprises puisque nous étions en voyage de noces, et très très sympathique! Pino se débrouille en anglais et Mario est bilingue. Nous avons adoré notre séjour.....un 12/10 aurait été approprié! Pino nous a même dirigé vers une petite compagnie pour notre excursion à Capri et les propriétaires de cette entreprise ont été aussi très sympathiques et accommodants. Nous recommandons ce Bed and Breakfast à quiconque veut passer du bon temps et profiter de son voyage. Chambre avec belle-vue. Restaurant dans l'hôtel, très bon et aussi très commode. Déjeuners italiens mais mieux qu'ailleurs....incluaient fruits et jus (ce qui n'est pas le cas partout) pâtisseries différentes et chaudes et bon café!Nous sommes restés 5 nuits à Fico d'India! Bon voyage!

Holidays Fico D'India Sehr freundlicher Umgang, Pino und sein Team versuchen alle Wünsche zu erfüllen; erstklassige Küche; Parkmöglichkeit (in dieser Region keine Selbstverständlichkeit); traumhafter Blick auf den Golf von Salerno; sehr emüpehlenswerte Unterbringung, jedoch sollten die Monate Juli und August für einen Besuch der Amalfiküste ausgespart werden; Tipp: Anreise über Agerola wählen.

Holidays Fico D'India Eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre, Freundlichkeit und Sauberkeit sind nicht zu übertreffen. Die Küche ist hervorragend,sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Essen am Abend, ein sehr nettes Restaurant erwartet die Gäste. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man kann sich rundum wohl fühlen, dieses Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen für Gäste, die Rube und Erholung suchen, aber auch die Vielseitige Umgebung erkunden möchten. Ein Dank an die gesamte Belegschaft, wir würden jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel buchen, wenn wir nochmals in diese Gegend kommen sollten.

Holidays Fico D'India Eigentümer Pino verwöhnt seine Gäste schon zum Frühstück mit selbstgemachten Dolce. Die besten Abendessen zaubert sein Vater abends in der Küche. Unbedingt bei Pino essen! Zumal man sich so die kurvenreiche Fahrt von Amalfi nach Furore ersparen kann, und so den äußerst schmackhaften und günstigen Wein richtig genießen kann. Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft. Eventuelle Transportprobleme löst Pino souverän. Mit viel Charme und profunden Kenntnissen informiert Pino seine Gäste.

Holidays Fico D'India Pino Milo macht den Urlaub zu einem Aufenthalt bei Freunden. Durch seine Freundlichkeit und seine große Hilfsbereitschaft fühlt man sich sehr willkommen, fast wie zu Hause. Das findet man nicht oft! Die gesamte (kleine) Anlage ist sehr familiär und gemütlich. Das Frühstück jeden Tag ein Highlight, auf das man sich freut. Jeden Tag gab es frisch zubereitete Köstlichkeiten, dazu guten, frischen Espresso und eine herrliche, traumhafte Aussicht in den Fiordo. Auch abends haben wir in der Unterkunft sehr gut gegessen. Pino's Vater kocht wirklich lecker! Wir haben nichts vermisst und sollten wir wieder an die Amalfitana kommen, wissen wir wo wir nächtigen wollen.

Holidays Fico D'India Meine Frau und ich haben schon viele Urlaubsreisen in den Mittelmeerraum unternommen,auch in 4/5 Sterne Hotels.Wir haben jedoch noch nie jemanden wie den Inhaber dieses Hotels(Pino) kennengelernt,der mit solcher Hingabe und Freude an seinem Beruf den Wünschen seiner Gäste nachgekommen ist.Ebenso ist die hervoragende Küche zu erwähnen ,deren Qualität zu keinem besseren Preis-Leistung Verhältnis angeboten werden kann.Wir können dieses Hotel mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und werden sicher nocheinmal zu Gast bei Pino sein.

Holidays Fico D'India Wir haben den Aufenthalt zu Ostern 2008 wirklich genossen. Pino, der Hausherr war ständig bemüht uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abzulesen. Bitte nicht im überteuerten Amalfi oder Positano Essen gehen - das Essen im Haus ist ausgezeichnet und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überdurchschnittlich gut. Es gibt überhaupt nichts zu beanstanden und wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!
