Well, that is all false. The restaurant next door was not open, and the only way to get to any other restaurants would be taking a taxi, which is very expensive. The young man at reception was very friendly, spoke English well, and even made us a mini-panini the afternoon we arrived, as we had not had lunch. The problems were: We arrived by train, then bus, then taxi, and did not have a car. The only restaurant within walking distance (for dinner) was closed on Monday nights, and it was Monday night. They did recommend a restaurant 20 minutes away which sent a driver (free) to get us, but the restaurant was full of flies and the food was only so-so. The mattress on our bed was not good; much too soft. The hotel sign was set back behind a hedge, and our taxi driver drove right by it the first time. I would recommend a sign that is more obvious, as the location is kind of out in the middle of nowhere. The shuttle service to the Malpensa Airport was very handy and was on time getting us at 5:45 am. The morning receptionist was nice enough to make us a cappuccino, but wouldn't let us have any of the pastries that were laid out in the breakfast area because breakfast "didn't start until 6:30am." It seems to me that they should allow food to be dispensed on the same timetable as the shuttles. The room was nice, however, and was modern, neat and clean. I would recommend the hotel as long as it's not Monday.

We had to check out at 6 a.m. because of an early flight, however, when we discovered that our flight was cancelled and we were rebooked much later in the day, we returned to the hotel, enjoyed breakfast and were able to stay in our room until noon check-out. It really saved our day and we were very grateful to the hotel staff for permitting us this privilege. The restaurant next door was fantastic - don't miss it if you stay here!

Had I known this, I would have avoided the Milan airport taxi drivers - who harrassed me and complained that they need "tips before drive...tips before drive." Of course, that means no tip at all, and my taxi driver grumbled.

I stayed in a real 4 star hotel in Milan downtown the previous week, and it was clearly higher in quality. The website advertized a price that was no longer available upon closing the reservation. Furthermore, it announced there was a shuttle from the airport but there is none after 10 AM, no taxi driver wanted to take such a short run (5 km) from the Malpensa airport, so it cost me an extra 25 € to get there. The in-room wi-fi internet did not work. Nice people though, but this is a 2-3 star motel, not a 4-star hotel. I would not go back unless properly advertised for what it really is.

Malpensa Inn Hotel & Motel The Motel was "GREAT".The people running the place are very nice and speak good english! Brand New, Private, Quiet, and Very Comfortable. We would stay again and again. Next door on a seperate property is a resturant in a home, this was some of the best food we had through our 14 days in Croatia and Italy... Close to airport with free transportation. Loved it!!! Keep in mind most of the hotels we stayed in were 4 Star and up. I would rate the room at least 4 Stars. The grounds have only a coffee bar to offer and even that is 1st class.. All in all, a perfect place to end a great trip... Thanks
