Villa Ricordi Buona posizione rispetto alla stazone ed alle fermate dell'autobus per Venezia. Il centro di Mestre è raggiungibile in pochi minuti a piedi. In realtà si tratta di un B&B (una vera e propria casa bilivelli le cui stanze al piano terra sono utilizzate per gli ospiti) a conduzione familiare, interessante per chi non ha molte pretese e si accontenta di un posto comodo, silenzioso e pulito per dormire. L'accoglienza nella struttura è buona, anchee se la sala colaizione è molto piccola (tre tavolini in una angolo comune della casa, appena fuori dalla cucina dove la proprietaria prepara la colazione sul momento.

Villa Ricordi Villetta centrale a pochi passi dalla stazione ferroviaria. Quindi comoda. Pulitissima. Ambiente dove si consuma la piccola colazione troppo angusto e famigliare. Colazione continentale leggerina preparata sul momento dalla proprietaria. Ho lasciato la stanza presto la mattina, dopo aver spiegato che dovevo sbrigare delle cose, ho pagato e chiuso i bagagli. La proprietaria mi ha chiesto le chiavi e al rientro si è rifiutata di farmi usare il bagno (o un qualunque bagno di servizio) per un solo minuto....perchè aveva già effettuato le pulizie....(!?) Le ho dovuto chiedere la ricevuta del pagato. Quindi in definitiva un ambiente un po 'ristretto' e poco professionale. ps. non dispongono di stanze a due letti pertanto ha aggiunto una brandina molto scomoda....

Ottimo rapporto prezzo/qualità, vinissimo (20mt) alla fermata per Venezia e vicino alla stazione (100-200mt circa). Unico Neo il Parcheggio interno che risulta limitato e disponibile solo a pagamento oppure è disponibile il parcheggio in strada, esternamente alla struttura.

Villa Ricordi Villa Ricordi is well served by public transport. The train station is an easy five minute walk, and the bus service connecting Mestre with Venice is across the road. As well there is a tram service between the train station and the north east edge of Mestre. The tram (free on Sunday) is good for sight-seeing. There is plenty of restaurants nearby, sufficient to satisfy most tastes and pockets. We were recommended to try Bepi's and found it excellent for food and service. The area near the station is being re-developed, and the station itself is a haunt of the usual pests, beggars and touts. Otherwise the surroundings are pleasant; there are street trees, public parks, buildigs are in good repair; we walked around by night and day and never felt unsafe.

Villa Ricordi Villa Ricordi does not offer wi-fi. This was annoying, because we rely on the Internet for research and maps. There are wi-fi points in nearby business premises, for the cost of a coffee.

Villa Ricordi Monica is a wonderful host, strongly recommend if you are interested in a convenient location to Venice where you can park the car on the street for six Eurio's and take a very convenient bus to Venice which comes by every ten minutes! The airport is only twenty minutes or so as well. The immediate neighborhood has a local Restaurant which your host recommends and is worth a visit. Almost forgot wonderful breakfast and price of 60 Euro's per night is very reasonable. We are planning to return for another night before we return home.

However as a single traveller, did not feel comfortable in this part of Italy at night so it restricted my movements somewhat. Also the area is a mess of construction and Mestre in general has not much to recommend it from what I saw.

The management is very friendly and accommodating; our room was nice and clean with a hard bed; very nice breakfast included; on the other hand, the TV was rather small and no international channels, and the shower (not tub) was quite small. Very nice indeed, but not luxurious.

Villa Ricordi sehr nettes B&B, relativ neu und von dem jungen Betreiberpaar liebevoll geführt. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Nettes Frühstück (italienisch!) mit italienischem Kaffee und frischem, süßen Gebäck. Zentrale Lage, Bushaltestelle und Bahnhof in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Einziger Nachteil: nah an der Hauptstraße, so dass früh morgens bei Beginn des Berufsverkehrs ein Schlafen bei offenem Fenster fast nicht möglich ist.
