Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Siamo stati in Toscana per pochi giorni, abbiamo soggiornato presso il vostro hotel, non conoscevamo la vostra catena di alberghi, possiamo dire di essere stati benissimo, il personale e' altamente qualificato disponibili al dialogo, cortesi pronti a risolvere ogni minimo problema . Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Veramente ottimo. Una scelta da consigliare a tutti. Facile da raggiungere e soprattutto il migliore compromesso per una scelta sia di lavoro che per turismo. Ottima accessibilità al centro città e strategico per chi usa l'aeroporto. Raccomandabile sia per uomini d'affari che per turismo.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa nella prenotazione è stato richiesto il prelievo del medesimo dall'aeroporto di Pisa... giunto a destinazione e contattato l'albergo ho scoperto che il servizio navetta aeroporto-hotel era ad orari prestabiliti, al momento quindi nn disponibile e di conseguenza ho raggiunto l'albergo con un taxi. Il giorno della partenza il problema si è riproposto con l'aggravante che ho aspettato cica un'ora per prendere un taxi. Considerata la posizione della struttura, sulla statale Aurelia, non in città e quindi un pò fuori mano si suggerisce di potenziare il servizio navetta. Per il resto si tratta di un buon Hotel

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa I had read previous feedbback on the hotel so I knew exactly what to expect. Our party included family of 2 adults and 4 young children in 2 triple rooms (doubles with added beds). Rooms were spacious and very clean, everything looked quite new. Hotel is VERY close to Pisa's airport but impossible to walk to. Arrived late at night on Ryanair flight and took minibus taxi service (leaving from right beside normal taxi rank) for 10 Euro for the whole family. Trip took all of 5 minutes. Checkin was somewhat slow (about 10 minutes) but OK. Immediately booked shuttle back to the airport for the next morning (had to get rental car). Breakfast next morning was good in lovely large room, shuttle was timely, checkout prompt. 1 night, no real complaints. Would be happy to stay there again if I had similar requirements. Not very convenient to city center but perfect for short stay close to airport, even with young family.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa We were very happy staying here. We liked the location close to the airport but still within distance of sights. They have a shuttle that will take you to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Comfort was good and hotel was next to cafe with great coffee.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Other than the overall experience (over three different stays in two weeks), the outstanding "aspect" was the front desk employee. He went out of his way to accommodate us in the stay itself as well as the transportation requirements we had. Our first stay was selected for convenience (near the airport), but our next two stays were because of the staff. Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa I had reserved a twin bedded room but arrived to find a double bed. I asked at reception for this to be changed and was told there were no rooms available with two beds. At check out I suggested that a reduction might be made because of the mistake and was firstly told that I could have asked for the room to be changed the previous evening (it was the same receptionist!). No reduction was made. Poor service in my view. Overall, the hotel is very convenient for the airport, clean, fairly reasonably priced but lacking in any atmosphere and with unhelpful staff.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa The breakfast was fantastic as most Italian hotels do a very meagre meal at breakfast but this one was great. The free shuttle service back to the airport was also very useful as we arrived to Pisa at almost midnight and it meant that we could go directly to the hotel and then collect the hired car from the airport the following morning.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa a/c did not work at all. Number of towels for one person only. Restaurant was bad, no atmosphere only buffet. No attention from waiters at all. Like taking the used plates i.e - no interest at all, though it was not busy.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa we ordered a bottle of wine at 9 euros and asked for 5 glasses. the barman poured the five drinks and then told us it would be 3 euros each as he called the drink an aperatif as we had it before eating in the restaurant. this was unreasonable and spoilt our evening. it was only a matter of 6 euros but it was the pricipal. the menu stated clearly 9 euros a bottle and the barman was adamant that we should pay per glass. When 5 of us sat down and ordered another bottle of the same wine at the same price we were only charged 9 euros. it was a matter of trying to rip us off in the bar. Shame.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Good location 5 mins drive from Pisa's airport (can't walk there). Free shuttle bus into town to see the tower. Don't forget to ask for pickup times. Better restaurants away from the tower if you head into the city which is down the road behind the tower (all the way) and turn right. Front desk ordered us a taxi for 6:30am flight which worked fine. There were some pastries & coffee available which was good as we left at 5am before the regular buffet breakfast kicked off. Absolutely fine airport hotel.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa when to the bar in the evening, was ignored for 30 minutes and understaffed. after 45 waiting with no drink we got a taxi into town for a meal and drink. We choose this hotel as it had a resturant and bar that we could use so we had an early flight we did not want to go into town and spend a lots of money on taxis.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa The bathroom was not as clean as it should have been and there was mould within the shower cubicle that had clearly been there for a while. We had an evening meal in the bar (main restauarant was not open) and the choice and quality of food was disappointing. Breakfast was excellent. The front desk staff were very helpful in arranging taxis etc. even when we were stranded in Pisa centre and they arranged a taxi to collect us and take us back to the hotel. Full marks!

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa 1) The temperature of the shower was constantly going up and down (cold and very hot!) 2) The aircondition was very loud (room itself and bed were oke!) 3) There was no restaurant open, only the small eatcafe. Was not clear when we arrived so when we wanted to have dinner the eatcafe was full and a lot o peaple were waiting. So or we had to wait, or take a taxi back to the city (what we did) If we should have known we should have stayed in Pisatown, had diner and then to the hotel! When above points shouldn't have been there the points would have been between 8 and 10 overall.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa The building & decor was fine, however the air conditioning in the room did not work & it took in excess of one hour for the hotel to agree to change our room. Furthermore the original room had not only had smokers in it but they had burned a hloe in the curtain It was extremely difficult to find from the airport. The restaurant facilities were poor. The Mini bus to the airport was very poor departing from the hotel 20 minutes LATER than booked.. All in all agood structure with pathetic organisation & service

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Hotel was not very clean. There is nothing nearby the hotel and no shuttle offered to take you to the city of Pisa. Shuttle pick-up from the airport not very organized, we waited long after the scheduled pick-up and after we got to the hotel we were told there was a charge. No shuttle service to the airport in the morning because our flight was too early. Taxi charged us 15 Euro for the short ride to the airport so no point in staying in this area to be close. The saving in hotel rate was spent on transportation. Restaurant was not open the night we were there, and the only thing offered was a BBQ for 15Euro per person. The BBQ was not worth the money, meat not cooked... but due to location of hotel, you had no other options for dinner without taking a taxi. The positive, the staff was overall very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is very close to the airport but the road signs don't make it easy to get there! we had to travel all around Pisa to find it which defeated the purpose of booking a hotel so close to the airport.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa I was very pleased overall with the cleanliness and appointments of the room and the hotel. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. I did have one problem. The room was too hot and there was no way to regulate it down. I called the front desk twice to complain. They said they could lower the temp from there, but all that happened was that my power went off repeatedly. I gave up on it and found that although the windows were supposed to be able to be opened, mine did not. I had to take a taxi from the airport because the shuttle did not run from 11 to 4. Why not? The morning shuttle was perfectly fine.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa The staff assured us there were some english channels on the tv, but they would not work in our room and after repeated inquiries and pat assurances, the problem was ignored completely by the front desk staff. Also the lighter fare restaurant is not connected to the hotel except by a bar, which meant going out in pouring rain to the next door to grab a sandwich. And the courtesy bus to the airport, for which I chose the hotel, does not run until 6:30AM, leaving early travelers with the only option being a cab.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa The most disappointing thing about the hotel was the relatively unfriendly/unhelpful attitude of the staff - particularly in the restaurant. We only stayed for one night - and so were pretty much forced to eat in the restaurant. The food was not great and combined with the unfriendly staff did not make it a great experience. I would never recommend anyone to stay for more than one night. In the vicinity of the restaurant there was a terrible smell (bad drains) which was somewhat offputting. It was probably caused by the products used to clean the leather sofas.

One recommendation would be that the hotel have a selection of sandwiches for purchase for the hungry travelers arriving in on late flights. Good breakfast buffet!

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa The shuttle bus that ran from the airport to the hotel stopped at 7pm and turned into a taxi service for another hotel. THis made it a bit difficult as our flight arrived at 11pm and there was a taxi strike. While they do provide a shuttle bus to and from Pisa and the airport, it must be reserved ahead of time. On the good side, they have a wonderful breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

The restaurant had a rather limited selection of food available though, and some more variety would be preferred as well as extended room service availability as this finished at 23hrs, which is a bit limited for an airport hotel where people come in on late flights.

As a hotel servicing clients near to the airport, with the unpredictable times those clients keep, this would have been useful. Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Arriving very late evening in Pisa on a flight from the UK, we needed a hotel near the airport, before continuing our journey to Rome the following morning, by train. Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Hotel and room very nice and clean!! However a very strong foul smell in lobby area of hotel. Hotel is NOT walking distance from centre of Pisa but hotel do operate a shuttle bus every 45 mins ( max 8 persons). Make sure you book with reception the night before!!! Beware of Mosquitoes (15 bites) outside hotel. Taxi from airport Euro10

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa I was slightly worried when I read one user's comment about the hotel but I found it unnecessary. One point I would make however - the hotel states that check-in time ends at 12midnight and our Dublin flight was not due to arrive at Pisa airport until 23.30. I rang the hotel and was told that there would be no problem in checking-in after midnight, if necessary. I met another traveller fron Dublin who had also contacted the hotel on the same matter. Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Very clean hotel, well presented. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. What let the whole thing down was the lack of services (Bar / food) after we arrrived from a very long journey. The mini bar was not well stocked and there was NO food whatsoever available. For this reason only I would never book this hotel again, no matter how good the rooms were.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa We booked a double room but got a twin room instead. Breakfast was a little disorganised but food was good...eventually. Very good value for money after a weary flight. Sound proofing a welcomed extra. Would stay again but would double check my reservation. Thank you.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Although we only stayed one night we had an extremely good impression of the hotel. Staff were extremely polite and helpful when we asked if we could leave our cases in reception for a few hours after we had checked out. Breakfast was great.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Very good hotel if staying in Pisa for a day or so before a flight, even if it is not in walking distance to the centre. The hotel is good value for money, even if you have to factor in taxi fares. Perhaps a more frequent shuttle bus service or at least in the mornings/during several flight departures given that it is all most impossible to get a taxi in Pisa between 9am and 11am, when most people are checking out to get flights or trains.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Nos ha encantado. El desayuno genial! Lo único que fue un problema es que tienen un servicio de transporte "shutlle" que va genial pero sólo funciona hasta las 22:00 y nosotros llegamos al aeroipuerto a las 23:30H. y tuvimos que coger untaxi. De todas formas es un hotel muy bonito y agradable.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Très bel hôtel facile à trouver avec un grand parking. Malgré la proximité de la route nationale, la chambre est calme et bien insonorisée. Je pense reprendre cet hôtel prochainement car l'accueil y est cordial avec beaucoup de personnel parlant le français et/ou l'anglais. Je le conseille sans hésiter à un couple (car cela est notre cas) désirant visiter Pise ou ses alentours. Petit déjeuner copieux et très bon.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Qualität und Service des Resaurants im Erdgeschoss war nicht zufriedenstellend, daher ist hier das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis grenzwertig. Die Dusche im Zimmer war erstaunlich verdreckt (unansehnliche Silikondichtungen und Schmutz in den Duschenecken)

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa da ich nur eine nacht in ihrem hotel verbracht habe kann ich nicht viel dazu sagen, das einzige was mich gestört hat war dass ich die klimaanlage nicht abschalten konnte (vielleicht lag das auch an meine unkenntnisse) Aber war im grossen und ganzen sehr zufrieden freundliches personal an der rezeption sowie auch das personal im frühstücksraum.

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Ein schönes Hotel, schnell vom Flughafen aus zu erreichen. Leider hat es mit dem kostenlosen Abholservice nicht geklappt. Unsere Italienischkenntnisse reichten nicht um diesen Service in Anspruch nehmen zu können. Ein Taxi kostet !0.- Euro!!!

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Frühstück wurde zu spät angerichtet. Einige Gäste hatten frühe Flüge und das Frühstücksbuffet war längst nicht komplett (6:00 Uhr). Ansonsten war alles ok. Sehr nützlich: Shuttle-Service zum Flugplatz!

Golden Tulip Galilei Pisa Die Lage ist zu Fuß schlecht erreichbar, obwohl es nicht weit weg ist vom Flughafen. AM Ankunftstag lief kein Wasser, am Abend und am Morgen dauerte es lange bis warmes Wasser zur Verfügung stand. Laut Auskunft steht der Shuttle-Verkehr erst ab 6:00 Uhr morgens zur Verfügung. Da wir aber bereits 5:15 Uhr das Hotel verlassen mussten wegen unseres Weiterfluges, bestellten wir ein Taxi. Da insgesamt 6 Personen zum Flughafen wollten, hätte das Hotel schon den Shuttle zur Verfügung stellen müssen. Auch der Frühstücksservice wurde erst ab 6:00 Uhr morgens angeboten. Es bestand keine Möglichkeit einen Kaffee am Morgen zu bekommen bzw. ein Lunchpaket. In der Halle des Hotels steht an der Bar eine riesige Kaffeemaschine, aber es war , obwohl wir es am Vorabend erfragt haben, keinerlei Entgegenkommen zu erkennen. Im Falle eines Falles würden wir dieses Hotel nicht wieder buchen, der Preis war eindeutig zu hoch angesetzt.
