Hotel Palacavicchi Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per la vicinanza sia alla stazione che all'aeroporto di Ciampino. Ottima pulizia sia delle camere che dell'hotel in generale. L'accoglienza molto professionale. Lo terremo in cosndiderazione per i prossimi viaggi.

Hotel Palacavicchi Anche una sola notte trascorsa presso l'hotel Palacavicchi mi ha consentito di apprezzare la cordialità e la gentilezza dello staff e del personale tutto. A breve distanza da Ciampino è l'ideale per chi deve trovarsi all'aereoporto il mattino presto o per chi arriva in tarda serata. Veloce e comodo il servizio navetta.

Hotel Palacavicchi Devo dire che anche se l'hotel è situato leggermente fuori dal centro di Roma è ben collegato si dispone nelle vicinanze della stazione ferroviaria di Ciampino e poco distante la metro Anagnina comodi da raggiungere in auto (nel mio caso ero in auto) e comodissimo il servizio navetta offerto dall'hotel (un po caro). Il soggiorno comunque gradevole posto tranquillo ottimo il pargheggio dell'auto (gratuito) ottimo il ristorante e la pizzeria prezzi competitivi ottima la colazione. In conclusione anche se alcuni piccolissimi diciamo dettagli non erano perfetti (nelle camere) io personalmente lo CONSIGLIO dovessi ritornare a roma riprenoterei lo stesso hotel OTTIMO.

Hotel Palacavicchi Ottima posizione per i voli da e per Ciampino. Un buon ristorante e con giusto rapporto qualita/prezzo. Molto intelligenti e carini a fornire le salviette rinfrescanti per le mani per chi va in gita ecc date in stanza come omaggio. Ottimo servizio naetta bus per e da aeroporto.

Hotel Palacavicchi There was building works going on outside my room the night i stayed there, and work began at 8am - an early start! It would be best to check that this work has been completed before considering staying at this hotel. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay.

Hotel Palacavicchi tutto sommato abbastanza comodo per raggiungere la stazione Termini, in centroa Roma. problemi alla sera dalla stazione locale per raggiungere l'albergo, circa tre chilometri, perchè i mezzi pubblici finiscono prestissimo. Risolvibile chiamando il bus navetta dell'hotel per 8,00 euro.

Hotel Palacavicchi Great place to stay to visit Rome. it is outside of the city so we didn't have to deal with traffic (we travelled by car). The hotel offers shuttle services to the nearest train station and from there it is a quick ride into the center of Rome. Recommend this to anyone travelling by car and wishing to not deal with the hazards of driving in such a large city. Room was very nice and hotel staff were extremely helpful.

Hotel Palacavicchi Hotel correct et pratique pour les vols très tot de CIampino. Il n'est pas possible d'aller de l'hotel a l'aeroport a pied... meme si leur site le laisse a penser. Il y la navette de l'hotel, prix en décembre 2011 de 2,50€ par pers.
Hotel Palacavicchi Nous avons demandé la navette pour qu'elle nous récupère de la station de métro... les explications par téléphone du point de récupération ont été exécrables... après un jeu de piste pour trouver la camionnette; le chauffeur faisait la gueule de nous avoir attendu 5 mn.

Hotel Palacavicchi The only problems we hade was that when we called from the airport to get picked up by the hotel shuttle, the woman at the reception was not very kind or helpful. Later that day there was a man in the reception, he was much more service minded. The other problem was noisy neigbours. Also, the location is not very good at all with the large parking lot right next to the hotel and the sketchy neigbourhoods. It smelled of gas from the cars driving to the parking lot into the hallways.

Hotel Palacavicchi I usually fly to Rome fiumicino airport but this time we took a chance to visit some friends living near the Castles area( Castelli), therefore we needed a place near Ciampino airport. Rooms were quiet and clean and staff were very polite. We would stay there again.

Hotel Palacavicchi This hotel is nice, the rooms, the staff, but it has a big problem is not near Roma. The transport to Roma is complicated. We have to change the hotel because it was difficult return to the hotel. If you have to go a Ciampino it´s a nice idea, but if you go to know Roma, it´s better take a hotel located in Roma directly.

Hotel Palacavicchi We've stayed one night between flights Girona-Rome-Wroclaw. Clean room with sat Tv (we were even able to find polish channels for my son) and food & service in the restaurant were marvelous. Excellent dishes for affordable prices. Is it true that is close by the airport but not in walkin distance. Bus 1.40 euro will drop you right off the motel parking lot. Shuttle in the morning (5 a.m.) cost me 5 euro. They were kind not to charge me for the kid which is 12 y.o. Good deal!

Hotel Palacavicchi The description of the hotel on Travel Europe website was fairly accurate. It is a hotel with no frills but very clean, staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The restaurant is very good, great menu, food well presented, good size portions and very good quality at a reasonable price. Location of the hotel is good, very close to Ciampino Airport, and also easy to get to Rome city centre. Local bus stops outside the hotel to Ciampino rail station, (5 min) 1.10 Euro each way, about every 20 minutes, train to Rome rail termini, 1.00 Euro. 15 min) trains every 30 minutes. The hotel cost me 50 Euro a night through travel Europe, so it was a great price for a decent hotel.

Hotel Palacavicchi You really need to get a golf cart or some kind of transportation to transport people from the hotel lobby to their rooms. I didn't have a car, so I had to lug my heavy suitcases all the way down to the end - it was VERY frustrating at the end of a long day. Hotel Palacavicchi This hotel was perfect for an overnight stay before travelling on from the Airport, which is serviced by the hotel shuttle bus. The room was clean and comfortable, with minimun disruption from plane noise. The restaurant was very good, having a wood fired pizza oven. I'd recomend this hotel and would definitely use it again if travelling via the adjacent airport.

Hotel Palacavicchi We chose this hotel for it's location near the airport. What we didn't realize is this hotel is away from town and the shuttle (which costs 4 euros each way, each person) doesn't run from 1:00p.m. and 5:00p.m. We were lucky to catch a bus that was going to the airport (across the street from the hotel) and it let us off at the hotel. There is nothing nearby and there are no English speaking channels on the T.V. Breakfast was free and good. Dinner wasn't too expensive and tasty. Hotel staff was helpful with internet, check-in and information. Trip to airport was another 4 euros each via shuttle. Even though the airport is right next to this hotel, the distance by road is too far to walk with lots of twists and turns.

Hotel Palacavicchi If you want to be right by the Rome Campino airport them you cannot get a better place. Cheap clean large room and helpful staff. Even if you are visting Rome this could be a good bet as you can get a cheap public bus, just over 1 euro to the Campino Railway station. and a 30 minute train journey, also costing just over 1 euro will see you in the centre of Rome (Rome Termini). From there you can travel around on the tube for a Euro for up to 70 minutes travel so can visit the vatican and all the other sites very cheaply.

Hotel Palacavicchi Good if you have an early flight to catch and do not intend on going to Rome. Rooms are correct and the hotel restaurant offers a nice choice of items. Pizzas are great and made in a wood oven as you wait. The hotel is hard to find so the only way to get there seems to be their shuttle service (free pick up from the airport and 5euros pp to go from the hotel).

Hotel Palacavicchi The hotel was good value and very handy for Ciampino airport but too far from the centre of Rome for a practical base to visit the city. We had a quad room which was large, clean and had satellite TV and limited minibar. The staff were reasonably friendly spoke good English but didn't look particularly cheerful. Our big disappointment with this hotel was the food. The hotel is pretty isolated and so eating in the restaurant is the easy option. The restaurant itself looks great it had a small buffet for antipasti and lots of fresh fruit and a great looking pizza oven. The choice from the menu is good and pricing reasonable. The problem was food and accuracy of the order. We had three incorrect dishes served and everything had so much salt added, it was almost inedible. Perhaps we were unlucky with the chef on the night we visited, but it was a big disappointment for us on our last night in Italy when it looked so promising. If eating there again I would stick to pizza and pasta and avoid the main courses.

Hotel Palacavicchi We chose this hotel strictly for its closeness to the airport. We were given two single beds despite having requested double. The facilities are very basic. The beds were on wheels which rolled very easily on the tiled floor. There is nothing within walking distance of the hotel. The dining room facilities were acceptable.

Hotel Palacavicchi This is a strange hotel which seems like a converted barracks. It is in the process of upgrading some of the rooms. It is only useful as a motel type stopover as close to the airport. The location otherwise is in an industrial area close to nothing else. It is virtually impossible to find as is invisible from the road. We only found it on our second circuit as we pulled in to the airport parking lot to ask. The only reason to stay here is if you have an early flight. The restaurant is quite good value and the upgraded room are fine. The reception staff do not seem particularly cheerful. Many of the rooms are a route march from the reception desk. It would be helpful if this hotel was listed as an airport convenient stopover but not as a leisure experience.

Hotel Palacavicchi The receptionist booked a private taxi for us to take us to Roma centro. He said the cost would be approx €50. We thought this was a bit excessive but decided to go anyway. When we got into Roma centro we were charged €60. On the way home we got a taxi from the Pantheon and using the taxi meter we were only charged €20. We were clearly ripped off on the first journey and felt it is possible that the hotel are using some private service and possibly making money from this and therefore we would neither recommend it or stay there again.

Even the taxi cost only EUR 40 from Rome Termini Station. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. Rooms are quite spacious and clean. Bedsheets, blankets and toiletries are also good. It has a very quite and relaxing atmosphere. The best thing about the hotel is the food. Sea food is specially recommended. It is very cheap as compared to restaurant in Rome and very delicious.

Hotel Palacavicchi At €50 per night it is a total bargain. There should be a better or bigger Hotel sign outside (the larger name is for the restaurant; the hotel name is virtually invisible from the street) and to get to it form central Rome is not easy, since you cannot turn left into the via de Ciampicino but have to go way past the airport before you can double back to reach the hotel. My room (112) was huge and spotlessly clean; only negative was that the plastic door of the shower cubicle needed repairing. For an overnight stay very near the Ciampino Airport it is ideal, especially if you use the free shuttle to or from the adjacent long term parking lot rather than the hotel shuttle to get to there.

Hotel Palacavicchi This was a good place for us to stay to catch an early flight out. The staff was pleasant and courteous. The evening meal was not very efficient. There was a large group of young students and we basically ignored. It took some time to get our meals and then to get the check was another half hour. We asked three wait people and finally one of my friends got up to ask for the check. The breakfast buffet was much better since we did not have to wait to be served.

Hotel Palacavicchi This is a nice hotel aimed at the business sector, the restaurant is superb in cuisine and service. The hotel is perfectly placed for Ciampino Airport use. The decor and quality of the hotel and the rooms are nice and represent very good value. My concern is the area, we nearly turned away as the hotel is not in a desirable area, the property is patrolled by guards with dogs, also the hotel is not obvious as it is hidden by a large bush frontage, look for the long stay secure parking complex. I would recommend that users of the hotel are not put off by this, but it is worth knowing so it is not a surprise when turning up at the hotel.

Hotel Palacavicchi The problem with the HOTEL PALACAVICCHI is that it is rather a motel, totally unsuitable for people staying in Rome without a car. They offer a bus shuttle, but it is 8 euros (one way) to get to the nearest railway station. There is a bus service available, but buses are ofter crowded and you cannot count on any timetable. Moreover, you cannot even walk to the nearest town, Ciampno, as there is no sidewalk, and the road is extremely busy. We were forced to walk twice (no buses at all in the early afternoon), and it was rather a risky business. Their room service is rather poor. Truth be told, during our 10-day stay our room wasn't cleaned thoroughly even once: balls of dust in the corners and under the bed, smelling toilet etc. Our bedlinien was changed once, approximately in the middle of our stay. Their strong poing is their restaurant: good food, resonable prices and agreeable service. Summing up: if you are a tourist on a budget, it's better (meaning also chaeper) to pay 10 euros more for a night and take a hotel closer to the center of the Eternal City:)

Il ruido en la habitación proveniente del baño insoportable al principio. Debia ser del aire acondicionado averiado pues los techos estaban rotos en el pasillo y la calle. El servicio de comedor, tanto en la cena como en el desayuno correcto y de calidad. La furgoneta para ir al aeropuesto muy bien. Conductor simpatico, como en general todos los italianos.

Hotel Palacavicchi En entrant dans la chambre, nous avons constaté une odeur putride et nauséabonde qui provenait de la salle de bains. (Probablement un problème d'égouts). Deux ampoules étaient défectueuses dans la chambre à coucher. Nous n'avons pas demandé à changer de chambre car nous étions fatigués, il était déjà tard et nous prenions l'avion le lendemain matin très tôt.

Hotel Palacavicchi - les toilettes fuyaient dans la salle de bain : il y avait des coulées nauséabondes dans la salle de bain - nous avons été réveillés à 3h15 du matin par un italien qui faisait des blagues au téléphone - les cloisons sont tellement minces qu'on pouvait entendre les gens parler dans les chambres voisines

Hotel Palacavicchi J'étais agréablement surprise par la qualité de l'hôtel. Son seul point faible, le coût de la navette pour l'aéroport, qui me paraît excessif. Sinon je retiens cette adresse pour une autre fois.

Hotel Palacavicchi Prix du transport en Taxi privé entre l'aéroport de Ciampino et l'hôtel prohibitif! Une information sur la possibilité d'un service de navette entre l'aéroport et l'hôtel devrait être donné sur le site internet, avec un prix par chambre, et non par personne. Sachant que vos clients prennent des avions quelquefois très tôt le matin le service du petit déjeuner normal pourrait être adapté.

Hotel Palacavicchi La qualité du repas auprès de votre restaurant et le service que nous avons eu était vraiment mauvais. D'une part, vous avez oublié le repas de notre fils de 11 ans alors que les autres étaient servis. Le poisson que mon mari a été servi en deux fois : la première fois cru, la deuxième fois brûlé. Les crevettes n'étaient pas mangeables. Quant aux pâtes - "alla matriciana" que mon autre fils et moi avons eues n'étaient de loin pas les meilleures pâtes que nous avons mangées en Italie. Quant au reste du service hôtelier que nous avons eu chez vous, nous en sommes très content. Merci de nous avoir demandé notre avis et meilleures salutations.

Hotel Palacavicchi Propreté douteuse et odeurs nauséabondes dans les sanitaires, eau de qualité suspecte à l'odeur, mauvaise literie. Accueil correct, mais problèmes pour un départ très matinal : la personne de garde ne parlait ni français ni anglais et il a fallu près d'une demi-heure pour pouvoir payer et récupérer nos pièces d'identité, ce qui a failli nous faire manquer notre vol

Hotel Palacavicchi Das Restaurat war ok, der Shuttle zum Flughafen am nächsten Morgen war pünktlich und billig.
Hotel Palacavicchi Beim Empfang dauerte es endlos, bis jemand kam. Noch endloser dauerte es, bis er meinen Namen gefunden hatte. Zimmer war im Gebäude Nummer 8, also endloser Weg mit Koffer. Zimmer nicht sehr sauber, uralte grausliche Decken, die Fernbedienung fehlte. Nachts gab es eine Riesenveranstaltung mit Live Music und ab-und anfahrenden Autos direkt vor dem Haus. Das Schlimmste: Man kann keine Fenster nachts öffnen, nur Klimaanlage. Die Fenster sind gleichzeitig die Türe nach draußen und da gehen unmittelbar die Leute spazieren. Alles riecht nach Desinfektions-und Ptzmittel. Das Wasser aus der Wasserleitung schmeckt durch das Chlor wie süße Limonade. Im Grunde ist der Preis für diese Absteige eine Frechheit trotz der Großstadt. Nie wieder.

Hotel Palacavicchi Zum ersten mal in Rom..Lage Ok Personal war nett und hilfsbereit Bad immer sauber und mit frischen Handtüchern. Zusammendfassend sind wir zufrieden gewesen und würden das Hotel auch nochmals buchen.

Hotel Palacavicchi Es gibt keine Hinweisschilder für das Hotel, und es ist daher sehr schwer zu finden. Wir haben mehr als eine Stunde gebraucht, um das Hotel zu finden und mussten 5mal fragen. Andere Gäste im Hotel hatten dieselbe Erfahrung.
