San Lorenzo Guest House Excellent recommendation provided by front desk staff member for the best and most reasonable priced local restaurant in Rome! The food was fantastic. Also staff arranged cost effective transportation to the airport. Guest house accommodation is simple, clean and good value for the money, however, the area the guest house is located in does not appear initially as very safe because of the enormous amount of graffiti on the surrounding buildings. The graffiti is done by the local university students, who also fill the nearby streets at night and who are generally not sober! The guest house is located close to bus transportation so taking a daily bus pass to travel around Rome is inexpensive and convenient.

San Lorenzo Guest House It´s a Bed&Breakfast hotel. Rooms are quite big and new (all furniture from IKEA). Continental breakfast is served in the aisle and you take it into your room. It´s not bad (coffe, tea, biscuits, cereals, mufffins,...). 15 minutes away from Termini Station, the neighborhood doesn´t look very well, full of grafittis, but you can eat well for little money. There isn´t subway close to the hotel, but you have lines 3 and 19 to go to the Colisseum.

No se tiene un servicio de telefono, solo el de la recepcion, pero es incomodo tener que solicitarlo. El personal que atienede, si es muy amable y mostró mucha disponibilidad de servicio.

San Lorenzo Guest House Ich habe auf meiner Reise drei Nächte im San Lorenzo Guets House verbracht und war begeistert! Nachdem ich es dann endlich gefunden hatte, wurde ich sehr nett begrüßt. Dann wurde mir vom Besitzer alle, von den Zimmern über Busverbindungen bis zur Sicherheit in Rom, erklärt. Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr schön und mit allem ausgestatet (Klimeanlage, Flachbildfernsehn, Safe, etc.)! Das Personal ist wirklich klasse! Das B&B liegt direkt bei der Technischen Universität und scheint doch gut zu liegen, auch wenn die Gegend etwas seltsam aussieht. Die Anbindungen zu Roms Sehenswürdigkeiten sind auch in Ordnung. Leider hat mir das Frühstück nicht ganz so zugesagt. Zwar war viel vorhanden, leider aber alles etwas süß. Aber trotzdem wurde man gut satt! Insgesamt kann ich das B&B- Hotel nur weiterempfelen, für den Preis wirklich gut!

San Lorenzo Guest House Frühstück ist anders als man es erwartet, nur abgepackte Kekse, süß gefüllteHörnchen, etwas Müsli, Milch, Wasser, Saft, "Gastronomiekaffe"-auf dem Gang abzuholen, Verzehr nur imZimmer, auf/im Bett möglich. -Supermarkt ist gleich um die Ecke-- ;-), TV,Klimaanlage, Minikühlschrank, Safe-imZimmer vorhanden Umgebung des Hotels anfangs gewöhnungsbedürftig, unsauber, z.T. ist die Straße Schlafplatz für einige Obdachlose, imUniviertel u.nachts lebendig, dann Fenster zu und Klimaanlage an (unerlässlich bei den Wärmegraden)-bringt Nachtschlaf auf jeden Fall ein preiswerter Tipp für einen Romaufenthalt, Bus-bahnnähe, umsteigen und einem Wochenticket (16€) garantieren ein preiswertes und unaufwändiges Erkunden der Stadt, sogar bis zum Meer kann man das Wochenticket nutzen, ebenso hälftige Strecke zum Flughafen. wichtig-alle Fragen wurden sofort und zielorientiert beantwortet (englisch), es gab Kartenmaterial, Erklärungen zu Bahnlinien, die gute Seele des Hauses (immer da an7Tage, 24h): "unser" Inder-verantwortlich für alle Zimmer, grundsätzliche Sauberkeit, wirbelt später in benachbarter Cafebar, empfängt und informiert auch spät anreisende Hotelgäste wir erlebten in der knappen Woche keinen erfolgreichen oder versuchten Taschendiebstahl

San Lorenzo Guest House Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Straße und macht durch die begrenzte Zahl an Zimmern einen familiären Eindruck. Der Weg von Termini ist etwas weit; nahverkehrsmäßig ist das Hotel nicht so gut angebunden. 2 Kritikpunkte: Wir hatten um eine zweite Bettdecke gebeten, sie wurde uns versprochen aber vergessen ins Zimmer zu legen (es wurde dann aber auch etwas wärmer, so dass wir ohne Decke auskamen. Wir hätten gerne mit VISA bezahlt, dies konnte der freundliche Angestellte allerdings am Sonntagmorgen nicht bewältigen und wir mussten bar zahlen, was von uns so nicht vorgeplant war. besser wäre gewesen, wir hätten die Info erhalten, dass wir schon früher mit VISA bezahlen sollten, wenn noch eine bürokundige Kraft da ist.

Das Frühstück entsprach italienischem Standard (Kaffee, Teilchen und Müsli) und war ausreichend. 3 Minuten entfernt befindet sich ein SB-Lebensmittelgeschäft mit einem umfangreichen Angebot, so dass bei Bedarf das Frühstück ergänzt werden kann.
