Hotel Al Sole We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Al Sole, in Venice. This is a jewel of a hotel. Luca at the front desk was lovely and had moved us into a Canel view room at the same rate, as it was our Anniversary. I dont think the pictures or description actually tell you how nice this hotel is. It is expensive (we just spent 14 days in Italy travelling all over, seeking nice but affordable accomodations, and this was our most expensive stay--but well worth it), but this is pretty much the rate for a room --right in the city of Venice, with a lovely entrance, breakfast, breakfast room, and room itself, also an easy walk from the train/bus station (the tradeoff being that this is a longer walk to the San Marco area, maybe 15-20 minutes away), with good directions given and great dinner recommendations from Luca. The room was very clean, with a modern bathroom. Our lovely shuttered window opened up upon a canal, with a lovely bridge just underneath us. Some mornings we were awakened by singing from the gondolier as he passed by our window singing to an accordian player. I could not have imagined a more pictoresque and romantic setting!!!! I would highly recommend this to anyone travelling to Venice.

Hotel Al Sole The hotel ran a free boat service to Murano Island from directly outside the building. It takes you straight to a glass factory, but we just chose not to go in. An issue we had with the aircon in the room (i.e. how to turn it on) was resolved quickly and efficiently. Breakfast was very good and ran until 10:30am so we didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn. When booking the room online we requested a room overlooking a canal and were given one. The reception staff spoke good english and were very helpful and polite. The hotel is also a short walk from the Piazzale Roma Bus and Train stations and is close to restaurants and a few bars. We thought the location was ideal as it wasn't teaming with tourists (end of May) but it wasn't in the middle of nowhere either. I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel Al Sole Awesome hotel in a beautiful place. 5 minutes walk from the centre. Gondollas just underneath the window and still very quiet. Couldn't be more authentic than that. Very nice staff. What else do you need ? Would DEFINITELY recommend !

Hotel Al Sole Renovations were taking place - very discreetly - but meant scaffolding etc to side of hotel and some boarding up of windows etc. Shame there is no bar for a nightcap! Hotel will be beautiful when works are completed. Would go there again -- very central.

Hotel Al Sole Me gustó mucho la ubicación, la zona era tranquila, además estaba muy cerca de la terminal de trenes y de autobuses, es facil llegar, si llevas cargando tu equipaje será facil llegar caminando al hotel, pues está a las orillas de Venecia. El hotel tiene fachada de viejo pero dentro está bonito y muy limpio.

Hotel Al Sole Es nuestra primera vez en Venecia. Fue certero haber seleccionado este hotel. Es una construcción muy antigua que cobina con la fachada, lobit, pasillos, jardín y habitaciones. Esta muy cerca (tres cuadras) de la estación de autobuses que transportan al aeropuerto Marco Polo y visceversa. Fue una estancia muy agradable. Quizá el precio es un poco elevado para nosostrso en América latina. En el mes de Julio (temporada alta), su precio es de 139 Euros.

Hotel Al Sole Muy buena localización del hotel y muy buena tención del personal de recepción. El patio ajardinado para el desayuno es muy agradable, si consiguieran evitar que las palomas se abalanzaran a las mesas que quedaban sin personas. Hubiéramos querido tener habitación con vistas al jardín o al canal, pero nos tocó una habitación que daba a un patio de luces. Aun así, el hotel es muy recomendable.

Hotel Al Sole Seleccione este hotel al azar ya que los hoteles que en principio pensaba utilizar estaban llenos. Ha sido una sorpresa para mi mujer y para mi la calidad del hotel. Hemos estado muy a gusto y no he dudado en recomendarlo a mis amistades. El edificio és muy bonito y perfectamente distribuido. Si que hubiera preferido que la habitación diera al canal o al jardin y creo que en el momento de contactar por internet seria necesaria la posibilidad de conocer la situación de las habitaciones.

Hotel Al Sole Wir hatten ein 3-Bett-Zimmer. Dieses war gross und ideal für 3 Übernachtungen. An der Rezeption wurden wir sehr nett begrüsst nach einer anstrengenden Reise. Wir haben am Piazzale Roma parkiert. Ideal um gemütlich in ein paar Minuten beim Hotel zu Fuss einzutreffen. Einziger Minuspunkt. Am Abend hätten wir noch gerne im Innenhof des Hotels etwas getrunken. Dies war leider nicht möglich obwohl ja eine Bar besteht. Alles in allem ein für Venedig zu empfehlendes Hotel.

Hotel Al Sole Für mit dem Auto in Venedig ankommende Personen sehr gut gelegenes Hotel (6 - 8 Minuten zu Fuss von der Piazzale Roma, der Grossgarage entfernt). Der Standard entspricht einem 3-Stern-Hotel (wie angeboten). Dafür relativ teuer (in Venedig zwar wahrscheinlich üblich). Wir waren insgesamt recht zufrieden mit dem Hotel und den angebotenen Leistungen und werden bei einem weiteren Besuch dieser Stadt dieses Hotel erneut berücksichtigen.

Hotel Al Sole Man hat ein sehr schoenes Atrium. Leider kann man dort nicht ungestoert fruehstuecken, da Spatzen und andere Voegel auf den Tischen herumspringen. Es waere zu empfehlen, diesen schoenen Platz durch ein Netz vor diesen Zeitgenossen zu schuetzen.
