Residenza D'epoca Pietra Di Ponente When we arrived we found that the restaurant was closed and we had to dine out. The recption area smelt of cigarettes and the receptionist was only just friendly. We asked for Tea which was provided but it was not hot. had to ask separately for milk. Room was comfortable but basic with a very poor mini bar. The TV did not work. I am afraid that we found the hotel utterly soulness which is such a shame as it could make an ideal airport hotel.

Residenza D'epoca Pietra Di Ponente Beautiful location and very nice facilities. The staff is friendly and helpful. The shuttle to and from the airports and local areas is great if you travel between 0700 and 2300. If you can not use the hotels shuttle and must use a taxi before or after these hours the fares are 70 Euros ($100) to the Ciampino airport (5 miles away). There is no restaurants or shops within walking distance but the hotel offers food and has a small bar. This was a great hotel for us to stay in for the evening after arriving into Ciampino and the evening before departing.

Residenza D'epoca Pietra Di Ponente Excellent welcome, friendly and helpful. Free pick up and collection to train station is fantastic. Great location for Ciampino Airport. We make many trips to our house in Abruzzo and fly into Ciampino airport so will be using this hotel regularly.

Residenza D'epoca Pietra Di Ponente This is a real find - only 10 minutes to the airport but seems a world away from Rome - there are excellent links into the city and the staff were wonderful - nothing too difficult. Breakfast was good for Italy too and i would heartily recommend this to anyone going to Rome - and especially flying into Ciampino..

Residenza D'epoca Pietra Di Ponente We have only one complaint, although an important one. Our room was near the door to the outside,and this had a difficult lock. This created a lot of noise when other guests came in at night. Other than this,which should be easy to fix, the hotel was quiet and in a lovely position overlooking Rome, but surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills. It's an attractive hotel in an old restored winery building, with comfortable beds and all modern fittings in the bathrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful, mostly with good English, and the meal we had in the evening was delicious, even though the hotel does not have a full restaurant service. It is in a really good situation for a stay in Rome if you wish to use the train or metro to get in and out.We only stayed one night, but can imagine that it would be a great place to return to after a hard, hot day of sightseeing and shopping in the city. At night, you can enjoy a refreshing drink on the terrace, with the lights of Rome spreading out below,and during the day (depending on the haze) you can actually see the dome of St. Peter's in the distance! A charming and relaxing place to stay.

Residenza D'epoca Pietra Di Ponente The hotel was almost practically impossible to find. After searching for three hours (no exageration) we left our car and took a taxi and even the taxi driver had to keep asking for directions. Dinner was poor in the extreme (although the wine was fine) and if that was home cooking I pity the poor family. The hotel was pretentious and although the staff were very pleasant it failed completely to live up to its rating. However the shuttle service to the airport was excellent.

Residenza D'epoca Pietra Di Ponente A gem of a hotel perfectly located near Frascati, and convenient for Ciampino airport. The setting, views and renovation have been accomplished with style, passion and sympathetic understanding. The rooms are faultless and of an extremely high quality. The owners are friendly, open & extremely friendly, and catered for every request including driving me to the airport at 4.30am! A fantastic experience which could only be improved by the hotel having a small restaurant serving simple "family style" high quality Italian food. In short - I fell in love with the hotel !

Residenza D'epoca Pietra Di Ponente We feel that we've discovered a hidden gem in this hotel and will definitely go back there. The owners and staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The only problem was in finding the place in the dark as there are no signs or indications, although I'm not sure I'd want them to change that. They were very kind and understanding when we phoned to get help - both times. I'd suggest having a better map and directions online.

Residenza D'epoca Pietra Di Ponente Calme, tranquillité, beauté du site, fraîcheur la nuit, par rapport à Rome surchauffée, bruyante et grouillante de monde. Accueil sympathique et navette hyper-pratique à notre disposition pour nous conduire à la gare la plus proche, à l'aéroport, et venir nous rechercher "sur commande"! Une halte vraiment reposante et ressourçante. On a juste regretté l'absence d'ascenseur (ou de porteur) pour nos grosses valises jusqu'au 1er étage, puis à l'intérieur de la chambre qui était sur deux niveaux...

Residenza D'epoca Pietra Di Ponente Personnel très sympa, avec une navette gratuite et personalisé - très utile car sinon, hôtel difficile à trouver sans GPS et le matin, il y a des bouchons pour aller à l'aéroport! Mieux vaut déposer votre voiture de location avant. Chambres spacieuses et climatisées Eau minérale gratuite dans les chambres - très apprécié Seul bémol - le service au resto était un peu "chaotique" et l'anglais/le français du personnel de la restauration est très limitée - nous sommes arrivés tard, nous avon sattendu longtemps et il y a eu erreur dans notre commande - et puis nous avons diné dehors dans le noir sans lumière!

Residenza D'epoca Pietra Di Ponente Tolles Hotel, idyllisch gelegen in der Nähe des Flughafens Ciampino. Sehr guter Shuttle Service zum Flughfen / Bahnhof Ciampino. Nach an einem anstrengenden Tag im Zentrum von Rom genau das Richtige zum Ausspannen und Erholen!
